“I want to make a difference to peoples lives” - ever since I stepped out of school, this is what I used to keep saying to myself! I had no clue as to why I kept saying that; but my decision to pursue Hotel Management was perhaps my first step towards achieving it. And then, there was no looking back. My 21 years of collective experience in Food & Beverage, Food Safety, Training & Development, and Quality Management along with the privilege of being a part of hotels like Holiday Inn (Pune) Le Meridien & The Westin Hotel (Pune), Six Senses Resorts and Spas (Maldives) right from concept and opening to successfully managing them, has further fortified my resolve. I have also worked for luxury Cruise Lines like Renaissance Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Carnival Cruises and Royal Caribbean International. Needless to say, I have gathered a lot of certifications and accolades along the way. In these 20 years, I have met People, People and More People ! People from land and Islands. People at the airports. People on water. Just all sorts of people with diverse cultures and backgrounds. And I have been fortunate to stay with, manage and train people from 64 different nationalities. And while doing so, I cruised along 77 different countries. It was also the time when I built my skills as a Public Speaker. Everything I say or do, mirrors my experience as a world cruiser, a Hotelier, and now as most people know me as – A Leadership Trainer. My mantra as well as my driving force is - Have an Attitude of a Trainer and an Aptitude of a Trainee. In other words, be a Teacher and a Student all your life. Share things that you know and learn things that you don, because nobody lives long enough to know everything.
