Andy Long (full name: Andreas Nguyen, Vietnamese) was born in 1988 and grew up in Germany. At a very young age Andy found his passion for martial arts movies due to the influence of world renowned movie star Jackie Chan. Inspired and fascinated by his idol, Andy tried hard to become as good and prolific as Jackie, training in different kinds of martial arts (Judo, Taekwondo, Hapkido, Kung Fu, Wing Chun...). Also practicing stunt falls, acrobatics and urban jumps the way his idol does (today a.k.a. parkour and free running). A new extreme sport from the States called Martial Arts Tricking fascinated him to travel around the world to learn and meet more Trickers which led him to compete successfully in national and international martial arts tournaments. In 2006 he founded his own action film team Mag-Fighters and began to shoot ( direct, produce, choreograph, edit and perform in) short films with unique martial arts fight scenes. His skills and knowledge to create these types of videos, which are shown on the internet, opened the doors for him to join the stunt/movie business in Germany. Over the years he collaborated with other independent film teams all over the Globe. After a long journey and one important visit on the set of a Jackie Chan movie in Paris, Andy made his childhood dream come true. He was finally chosen by Jackie Chan and the Stunt Coordinator Jun He to join the Jackie Chan Stunt Team. Since 2011 he has been working worldwide as a JC Stunt Team member on movies such as Chinese Zodiac (2012), Police Story: Lockdown (2013) and Dragon Blade (2015).
