Hideaki Anno was born on 22 May 1960 in Ube, Japan. He is a director and writer, known for Shin Godzilla (2016), Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone (2007) and The Wind Rises (2013). He has been married to Moyoco Anno since 26 March 2002.
