Saeed Rad (also Romanized as Saeed Raad) is an Iranian actor and playwright. He started his career in 1967. He was banned from filming after playing in the movie Oghabha (1984) and left Iran in 1986 and lived in Canada but returned in 2000 to continue his career. He won two awards from Sepas Film Festival for playing in the morning of the fourth day (1972) and Tangna (1973). After a minor role in Conquerors of the Desert (1969, M. Zarrindast) he was invited by Amir Naderi for the leading role of his debut, Adieu Friend (1971). He won an honorary diploma for the best actor in the leading role from the Fajr Film Festival for his role in "The Receiver" (2010), and he portrayed the military officer Valiullah Fallahi in "Che" (2012).
