Majid Esmaeili (born October 7, 1980 - Iran/Tehran) is an Iranian director and screenwriter. He started his activity in the field of art since 1996 and holds a master's degree in cinema directing. Among his works, films such as "Khoda Jir Jirak Ha Ra Dust Darad" (God Loves Crickets), "Kami Door Tar" (A Little Farther), "Dancing on Ice", "Gamichi" and the series "Gildokht" can be mentioned. In addition to filmmaking, he is also active in screenwriting and has written several TV series and films. Most of his works have been successful in winning domestic and international awards.
