Dorota Kolak is a Polish actress and academic teacher. She graduated from the National Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow in 1980. She started her career at the Wojciech Boguslawski Theatre in Kalisz from 1980 to 1982. Since 1982, she has been associated with the Wybrzeze Theatre in Gdansk. She also works as a pedagogue, conducting classes in acting, plastic movement, forms and styles of stage movement at The Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdansk. In 2015, she habilitated at the National Film, Television and Theatre School in Lodz in the discipline of theatre arts. In 2023, she received the title of professor of film and theate arts. She has played in the regular cast of the TV series Radio Romans (1994) and Pensjonat Pod Róza (2004). Since 2007, she has been appearing in the TV series Barwy szczescia (2007) and Recipe for Life (2011).
