Hairul Azreen, the youngest child of Idris Ali and Habsah Desa, was an active child growing up. At the age of 16, he had already received a black belt in Taekwondo. In 2004, he even represented Selangor in the SUKMA Games. The Sukma Games is a biennial national multi-sport event involving young athletes in Malaysia. He was a stuntman and a martial artist in his early 20's before he began dabbling in acting, scoring a leading role in Mahabah De Laila, a drama series on TV9 back in 2009. He continued to star in several telemovies and drama series such as Teknofobia, Pontianak Remaja, and 5 Bujang before his film debut in 2011 for the movie Keramat. In 2013, Hairul Azreen, along with teammate, Dazrin Kamaruddin won first place against 15 other celebrity teams in Fear Factor Celebrity Malaysia, a stunt/dare game show adapted from the American Fear Factor TV show.
